Spring Into Service: NPS Park Clean-Up

On Saturday, April 12, Kiwanis Club of Washington, D.C. partnered with the National Park Service for a successful community clean-up. The project was led by member Stacey Simmons, who coordinated a small team that made a noticeable impact in just a few hours.

Project Highlights:

  • 1 Kiwanis DC member volunteered

  • 2 guest volunteers participated

  • 3 hours of active service

  • 6 total service hours contributed

  • No cost to the club

  • Project focused on environmental stewardship

Stacey shared that "NPS and James are great to work with. Would definitely recommend projects with them in the future," highlighting the strength of this community partnership and its potential for future collaboration.
