City Blossoms Garden Work Day
On April 5, Kiwanis Club of Washington, D.C. teamed up with City Blossoms for a hands-on Garden Work Day at Eliot Hine Middle School—and the results were blooming beautiful!
Despite gray skies, spirits were high as volunteers joined school staff and youth to help prepare the garden for the spring season. Together, the group weeded garden beds, planted seedlings, spread mulch, and refreshed the landscaping to create a welcoming and educational green space for students.

The day was filled with community connection and purpose. One volunteer even expressed interest in joining Kiwanis DC after moving from New York—proof that service truly brings people together.
