Chartered in 1917, this still vibrant and important Washington club will be celebrating its 90 years of community service with a very special evening April 21, 2007 at the Hotel Washington.  With members from all over the DC metropolitan area ranging in age from 24 to 95 still developing new programs that reach out to the children and elderly in need, and a long tradition of fellowship among the members, it promises to be a night to remember.  Through the 90 years as a club, this Kiwanis club has established and currently runs an Orthopedic clinic for less fortunate disabled children on the grounds of Sibley hospital, hosts and funds a Youth Leadership Scholarship program for the 20 DC public high schools, performs monthly sing-alongs at local nursing homes, along with many other events through the year that bring smiles to the faces of those less fortunate in our community.  Join us for an evening of celebration as we look back, and enjoy old and new friends.
