Community Activities
Through Circle K, we are learning how to become tomorrow's responsible community leaders!
- Shopping for and delivering food to the elderly at St. Mary's Court
- Participating in the annual city-wide "Help the Homeless Walk" in Washington
- Painting and helping with maintenance for Partner Arms (a transitional housing complex that is part of Samaritan Ministry)
- Participating in the annual city-wide "AIDS Walk" in Washington
- Sorting food for the Capital Area Community Food Bank
- Making "safe sex" kits for the Whitman-Walker HIV/AIDS Clinic
- Helping clean up flood damage resulting from the recent series of hurricanes in North Carolina
- Celebrating the holidays with handicapped students of the District of Columbia Public School System's Sharpe Health School at the annual Christmas Party given there by our sponsor, the D.C. Kiwanis Club
